16) So for this one, it works out well if you multiply both sides by 9 to get rid of fractions (they suck).
=> (-2/3)(9) = (1/9)(9)(k)
=> k = -6
14) Same idea, just multiply by 8 to clear out the denominators and DESTROY ALL FRACTIONS!!
=> -7(r) = 6
=> r = -6/7
12, 8, 6) Try eliminating fractions in these, too! Hint for 6), the smallest common denominator is 15. You can easily find this by simply multiplying the two denominators together => 3*5 = 15. Just multiply both sides by 15, and BOOM, you've gone from having to deal with fractions (bullshit) to just addition/subtraction (hallelujah).
