Can we ever trust people in this world?

I know this to be very true. It's easy for people to say they'll be there, until they actually have to be there, and then the effort is too much. Which means of course that they don't care about you more than they care about what's easier for themselves to handle. In my experience I have only had one true friend that has been there for me through thick and thin, the rest leave when things get rough. My mother is the only person besides that, and I don't think she counts lol.

But as a result I trust no one, not even after I know them well, until they've had a chance to show their true colors.

Also I trust no one because there is a war going on for our minds, and in psychological war, there are no civilians. But that's an entirely different subject.

I think that its not always that they don't love and like when theres problems. Some people simply do not know how to react or how to help or what to do when someone they know comes to them with a problem or is going through something. I know myself that when friends are in a time of need I struggle to know what to say or do, so I don't do anything at all, sometimes rather than talking about it or acknowledging it I talk about other things to take their mind off it, this could come across bad but its not the intention. Its not that people dont acknowledge that somethings up, its just not everyone knows what to do.

Some people have their own problems to deal with, that can be enough for them without worrying about someone else, thats all.

I am totally giving people the benefit of the doubt though, some people are just not interested in others and thats just the way they are.

becoz, the real thing always sticks on to u like a shadow, wether ur walking on fire or ice! the mirages and fakes tend to dissappear aftr a certain point of time! and in any ways, You come alone in this world andyou go alone in this world, so y do u need to trust anyone so bklindly! Trust urself man, and thou shalt reign supreme!!

Never trust anyone but yourself. I've learned my lesson, even when I called my friend a bestfriend and told her everything about my life ... a year later she turned her back against me and told everyone about what happened about me. I trusted my boyfriend and told him everything, when we broke up he had spreaded rumors about me. I trusted my parents but they went and told my aunties and uncles. No one can ever be trusted.
