Loosing points on YA!?

How would you loose point's on YAnswers? I logged on and it told me I was down 8 points.

Update:

thumbs down, not true, you only gain from thumbs up.

Didn't ask questions lately, till this one and the next one.

    check your email for a violation notice. That is the only way you lose points besides asking a question

    Probably because you asked some questions. Each question asked is -5 points from your score; of which you can regain 3 points by choosing a best answer.

    Also you can lose points by deleting an answer you have posted, or if the answer is removed for a violation.

    I think you lose points if someone/people dislike your answer(s).

    (The thumbs down). And also when you ask a question you lose 5 points for each question.
