cell phone carriers charge for wifi use?
now t-mobile charges you if you use WiFi on an iphone or any phone with wifi which i think is ridiculous....so do all carriers charge you for wifi use or are there ones that dont?

nope definitely not a mistake, t-mobile does charge for wifi use...they say the signal still goes through their server
yea i know it sounds crazy!...but i called t-mobile and asked them and thats what they told me...must be a new thing?

Um, no they dont. No phone carrier charges for wifi usage. You must be mistaking it for something else.
Update: Im telling you no carrier charges for wifi use. If you are at home on YOUR OWN WIFI NETWORK, you dont get charged. You are on your wifi network, not a "Tmo server". THere is something very fishy about your question, my friend.
Update 2: Ok Ive called Tmobile as well as checked with a few friends in the know, just to try to figure out what you are talking about. Tmobile IS NOT, NOR DO THEY HAVE PLANS TO START CHARGING FOR WIFI. Either you are thinking of their new HSPA+ network, which is not wifi, or you are completely full of it. End of story.

Thats the first time i heard of tmobile charging for wifi usage. I have att and an iphone and i can tell you if wifi counted towards my monthaly allowance i wouldnt have bought it to begin with

if u access from home, its totally FREE.. but outside of ur home, like sch, etc. u need to check with your internet service provider..

WTF, T-Mobile cant do that the iphone is unlocked and when its on WIFI ITS NOT CONNECTED TO THERE NETWORK OR SERVER
