FIND DERIVATIVE OF F(X)=X-3XSQRT X/sqrt x?

used Quotient rule y'=(sqrt x)d/dx(x-3x sqrt x)-(x-3x sqrt x) d/dx (sqrt x)/sqrt x. I get y' =x^-1/2(1-3x^-1/2-1+3x^-1/2*x^-1/2/x^-1/2 from here, I am stuck. Please help me out....

    You need an easier approach.

    ____________________________

    y = ( x - 3x√x ) / √x ............ now split

    ..= ( x / √x ) - ( 3x√x / √x )

    ..= √x - 3x

    ______________________________

    ∴ y = (√x) - 3(x)

    ∴ dy/dx = d/dx( √x ) - 3· d/dx( x )

    . . . . . . .= [ 1 / (2√x) ] - 3( 1 )

    . . . . . . .= ( 1 - 6√x ) / (2√x) ................ Ans.
