I never heard of Norton doing such a thing, but I can tell you how.

Hold the Windows Logo and press "R" Key.

This should open the RUN tab, type in "msconfig"

This should open a window that says "System Configuration Utility"

Go over to the tab called "Startup"

From here check off the items you DO NOT want to start up.

    Hit "Apply" then "Ok"

A message should come up requesting to restart the computer, select to restart it.

*TIP* Careful what you check off, about 10 of the startup items are Microsofts programs to operate your operating system.

You dont need Norton to do that .

Go to run command and type ' msconfig ' and in the ' startup ' tab disable all programs you dont need.

But be careful dont disable anything you dont know .
