Pontiac for three reasons: 1. It is a Chevy, technically. 2. It's horsepower-to-weight ratio is more in it's favor. 3. Depending if you are on a traditional quarter drag, the G6 would get up to top speed sooner and in time for the finish.

I had a 74 Toyota Corolla with a Hemi. The Hemi does not automatically win every race. But the 3.9 is not that fast, so I would bet on the Hemi Ram

hypothetically speaking , the Pontiac GTO
but a drag race is not as easy as it sounds , it depends on how fast you shift , whether you shift in the right times or not & how much wheels spin you'll do when you start.
even the engine & the wheels temperature has an effect.
i had a BMW 94 modified , it hits almost 60 KMPH before it even starts moving

It might be pretty close in a quarter mile. Both are capable of running 15 second quarter mile times.
