laptop is not finding wireless connections...HELP!!!?
i have a dell inspiron b130 laptop and am sitting right beside a friend with broadband connection and a router but my computer isn't showing any available connections. could someone please give me different ideas to try on my laptop or my friends desktop to make it so i can use her internet??? i am not real computer literate so PLEASE barney proof it for me!!! lol Thanks!!!
there is no switch on this laptop anywhere...the antenna is F2 key but doesn't do anything when i press it

Make sure your wifi switch on. There should be a wifi switch on your laptop. I have forgot to turn mine on a few times and I wondered what was going on. I even have a computer technician license and I am far from being perfect.
