The first non hunter gatherers were from the fertile crescent, in the middle east. They were able to start civilization because the land was farm-able, meaning they did not need to travel to chase animals. It was easier to get food so they had more time to start a civilization.

Most ancient civilizations developed near river valleys like Egypt(Borders the middle east and Africa), Nubia(South of Egypt), the indus valley(india), the yellow river(East China, there's an actually name for it, but I forgot) and Mesopotamia( a collection of city states, in the middle east)
The Chavin and the Olmecs were the first Americas civilaztion that did not develop near river valleyes and were isolated from everywhere else.
Also there was a short section on the celtics, but I'm not sure where they were from. They didn't leave a big impact though
