Ya know, the kind that doesn't really make your head hurt but it makes you feel like you are going blind?

    Dear Inquirer,

There is no cure for cause of the pain. Meaning; you cannot take a pill and never get it again.

However, you have can reduce the amount of pain by 1) taking a medication that blocks or hides the pain from your senses, (check with your doctor first before hand so you know what you are able to take!) 2) if you have pressure behind your eye, you can close your eyes and apply a finger using the fingerprint area only to your eyelid very gently and SOFTLY apply pressure slowly so that you eye is going into you head. By doing this it allows the blood that is in the arteries behind the eye to flow easier and also allows the artery to adjust itself a little different. Just a little bit of overstressed eyes will cause the eyes to swell just enough to push against the artery carrying the blood and block it. Then th artery acts like a balloon filled with air when it gets released. The artery flutters and releases a little blood at a time until the swelling goes down and allows normal flow again. By softly applying pressure enough (not to see stars!) this pushes the front of your eye away from your forehead which then allows the flow of blood to flow from the temple region. (These kinds of headaches are from not enough blood OR to much blood flow, depending on the person) This is why you can apply pressure to the temple blood vessel only with your finger and block the blood going through it... and the pain seems to go away imediately.

Lastly 3), surgically remove eyes by a surgeon.

OK...,ok so forget the last one...lol.

PLease note that the medication is usually an anti flamatory or/and muscle relaxer to help the swelling go down.

    Hope this helps you.

    Sincerely,

    MR. Headache

(atleast that's what my ex use to call me)...lol.

Source(s): I've suffered with these kinds of headaches most my life! Computers, starring at small screens like cell phones is a big reason for me.

Spasm of the artery/ blood vessel that supplies blood to the retina. There are meds that a person can take daily to help prevent occurances . Some people say certain foods, cheeses, nuts, red wine, msg can precipatate a migrane and they avoid these items.
