is this a good pitching repertoire !?!?!?
so im a 16 year old pitcher and i throw fastball, split finger fastball, curveball (which i need to improve), and change-up, is this good enough for a starting pitcher or should i learn a slider or maybe sinker or something ??

High school pitchers should only throw fastballs and changeups. Other pitches have a tendency to cause arm, elbow and shoulder damage since those body parts are changing as you physically mature. At this level you also need to learn to pitch and not just throw to the catcher (e.g. learn to throw strikes to the corners, change location and change speed). Wait until your arm and shoulders fully develop before trying to add things like a split-finger fastball, curveball and/or slider.

ya that sounds like a great repertoire.
its good because they are complementary pitches. its nice to have that change and curveball that contrast the fastball. if it were me i would maybe learn a slider instead of the split finger (unless you have completely mastered that pitch and it is working for you)
