I started college late, at 25 years old. I am majoring in nutrition, with a minor in psychology.?
My GPA is 3.8. Right now, I am 27 and a junior. I want to do an unpaid internship in nutrition in order to gain experience. I'm afraid they won't hire me because I am too old. Should I still apply? Without the internship, I wouldn't be able to get a job when I graduate.

Internship is easy, really. Anyone are more than willing to hire you, because they only need to pay you a small amount of allowance. My advice is, find a big multinational company if possible, you will be able to learn more.
I've done this in two different company in IT position. In a smaller local company, I was used as a cheap labor, doing all the dirty job of carrying a computer around and stuff like that. My next one, I went to a multinational company, Infineon, and I learn some very valuable skills and experience with a new software Sharepoint 2010 that is still new in the market.
You have great GPA too, doubt you will have any trouble finding job

Do the internship. Experience matters more than age. I just got hired as a fitness instructor for the first time and I'm 35. I'm also in my second semester of college as a health & fitness specialist. It's never too late unless you don't first try.

DO the INTERNSHIP! I did not do one and now it is very hard to get a job in my field. And age does not matter as long as the person has the experience a company is looking for.

Don't be silly. I'm way older and I got hired. And I don't have a 3.8 GPA.
My transcripts are a train wreck.

You are young- there's no way that your age would be a factor in you not being hired.
