About a minute & a half.
When I was in band, we had to do breathing techniques so we could gain better lung expansion.
Breathe in for 4 beats, breathe out for 4 beats.
Breathe in for 8 beats, breathe out for 8 beats.
Breathe in for 12 beats, breathe out for 12 beats..
& just keep going.. You get the point.

I can hold it for 2 minutes as well ;D. And this may be confusing but I take a really huge breath in and then I hold it, and I let out a little air out of my mouth with a little opening because If I let it all go away then I'll have the urge to breath, while I'm letting it out slowly, I won't have to breathe in heavily again.

I haven't tried for a long time, but I used to be able to do 2 minutes. I thought that was pretty good until I looked at the world record....

Good time 2 minutes...................
my best record is 4 minutes and 20 seconds.......... relax, breath deeply and hold your breath as long as you can..... when you feel that you have to breath try to relax......and don't give up!

i can hold mine for 45 seconds. i dont smoke. of course, i'm 14, why would I. haha. I'm a good boy. uhm when i hold my breath. i reserve some air into my mouth. and when im done using the first inhaled air, then ill use the reserved air in my mouth, inhaling the air from it. that contains oxygen that i inhaled that's why i can breath using that air.
