How come Hakeem got two wins against Bird's C's in the playoffs but Jordan got swept twice?

It's not adding up can someone enlighten me

Update:

Coltsfan- Hakeem had a winning record vs Jordan's bulls(even though for most of his years he had little to no help)

Jordan Jockers are dumb lol

Update 2:

The greatest- How can you be the best when your getting you butt handed to you by the other team year after year after year

Update 3:

@Don't panic are you little upset. Last time i checked both Jordan and Hakeem were on average at best teams BUT hakeem manages to win two finals games while Jordan keeps getting swept? What's wrong with this picture right here

    It's a team game stupid.

It's not Jordan vs the Celtics.

    That's like saying "how can 9 be greater then 5, when 9 + 4 + 6 is only 19, and 5 +8+ 7 adds up to 20. Something doesn't add up here."

That's right, and what's not adding up, is you.

    Edit:

Average at best? Really? The '86 rockets are "average at best."

    No.

They were great. They averaged 6 players in double figures, Ralph Sampson was great, they had balanced team defense. They were 36-5 at the summit that season. They were made for the playoffs. They beat MJ's Lakers, the previous and next years champions, 4-1.

That those Rockets only got 2 wins against the Celtics, is a testament to how great the Celtics were. They were playing the 2nd best team in basketball those finals.

The Celtics could bottle up MJ better then they could bottle up Hakeem.

When it was Rockets vs Celtics, It usually turned into a 2 on 2 matchup of Robert Parish & Kevin Mchale vs Hakeem Olajuwon & Ralph Sampson. But when it was Celtics vs Bulls, the Celtics had a variety of great defenders to throw at Jordan. Which included Bird (at times), Cedric Maxwell, ML Carr. and then you sometimes had Mchale and Parrish roughing up Jordan.

Why are you idiots trying to make this so complicated? It's as simple as this:

    Bird > Jordan

    Hope this helps
