Question about wii games and memory cards?
I noticed that there's no memory card in my wii and yet when I play my games I still have all my data there o____o... So what's the memory card for then? If I borrow my friend's game is their data gonna be in the game when I play it on my wii?

The Wii has essentially a non-removable 512MB Flash card. This is where game data is normally stored.
Most games allow you to copy their save data onto an SD card, however, some will not allow this for copy-protection reasons (usually related to paid downloadable content or issues with mutliple Wiis having the same Friend Code for a game).

The Wii does not usually use a memory card, unless you are intending to play a Gamecube game. Sadly, no, your friend's data will not be playable on your Wii. It's very disappointing in some cases, while in others it's good if you lost a disk. But you can buy an SD card for the Wii so you can transport your data.

If you're on system menu 4.0+ then you could copy your game data to a sd card & carry both the game & data to a friends house.. The wii has 512 mb of internal memory & you need a gamecube mem card to save gc game progress. If you want to softmod your wii, you'll have to have a sd card

the wii saves using internal memory
if you borrow a friends game you will not have their data

im pretty sure the memory card is additional memory space and you have the option to save it there. so i'm guessing if your friend saved their memory to the card it should be there if you put in yours
