Fallout 3 simple control problem?

press B and your pipboy will come up

if you press b your pip boy will open,then go to where your weapons are and click on it,that will equip it.you can also use the d pad to hotkey your weapons,scroll to a weapon then hold the right button and push which ever direction you like on the d pad,you can do this with stimpacks also.to drop an item from the inventory im pretty sure you press x and that will drop it on the ground.to eat or drink an item just go to it in the menu and press a and your character should use it.you can check out this site for more help and info on the game.hope this helps.good luck in the wastelands.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/fallout_3

Just hit the B button to bring up the mini computer. I forgot what its called. Use the RT to scroll from the maps to weapons to health status. When the computer if you have weapons highlighted, use the D-Pad scroll to the different sections like AID, MISC, etc.

The A button once you have the highlighted item will allow you to eat or equip a weapon.. X normally puts the weapon away depending on what it is.
