Hypothetically Speaking? When one is going to ask their spouse for a divorce?

Do you think it's a wise choice to tell their grown children about their decision before they tell their spouse? Not knowing what their spouses reaction would be.

No. I would not tell the adult children before I told my spouse. Not even if they were my own and my husbands children together (you didnt specify if the children were their own or step children) Divorce is something that needs to be between the husband and wife

Suppose your Spouse Already told them , Now you are finding out that

you both want the same thing . Children never welcome the news of a Divorce

Just like Parents burying their children. (Talk To Each Other First )

If the relation between the couple is friendly, I mean, if it's good, it should be spoken between the couple and then, altogether talk to the children about it. At least, that sounds most sensible for me.
