We cannot compare football played now and football played in Pele's time. If Pele had to play in the Premier League of today he wouldn't score a single goal.

Diego Armando Maradona was the best footballer of all time. As someone already stated he led a rather week Argentina side to triumph in the biggest tournament of all -the world cup-. Pele would be a close second however for doing the same with Brazil but on multiple occasions and for having the most goals scored by any professional player which is over 1000. Pele however had a stronger side to work with when achievieng world cup glory. Aside from winning the world cup with Argentina, Maradona is widely recognized for leading Napoli to their only two scudetto's during his career.Why is Maradona the best player of all time? because he always played well in the most competetive of leagues in South America and Europe and was able to do well in the world cup and not flop like most superstars do nowadays.

Pele, Maradona, Zidan, Ronaldinyo are the best player in their time. for me, Maradona is the best because he has no good physical but can make amazing things.
