As has already been said, green, purple, and gold tend to be the way to go for Mardi Gras. If you're buying in bulk, you may want to consider ordering from Oriental Trading or a similar retailer. :)

Green, purple, and gold are traditional mardi gras colors. Masks, beads, and dubloons are popular items at any mardi gras parade

i dont know of any stores in that area...but you are always good with purple and green if its a mardi gras dance
