Which Call of Duty games have two player SPLIT-SCREEN and what split screen modes? Which should I buy?
I have a PlayStation 3, and want to get a Call of Duty game. I'm only interested in the newer ones for next gen. systems - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, and Modern Warfare 2. I'm wondering which of those three have a two player split-screen mode, and what kinds are there for each. For example, are therer co-op, one vs. one, team battles, capture the flag, etc. Also, if there are CO-OP campaigns for any of them, how good are they? How do they compare to the regular single player campaigns in each?
Also, please make a recommendation as to which one I should buy.
(Please don't mention Black Ops because I would wait a while for the price to go down before buying that anyway, and I want one sooner than that.)

Okay well all of the above games have split screen capabilities. Of the three you mentioned I would recommend Modern Warfare 2. As it has an amazing campaign with even better multiplayer and the new Spec Ops game type where you can play objective style missions solo, online, or splitscreen. I wouldn't suggest World at War, while it does have Nazi Zombies, the price for the maps is rediculously high considering how long the game has been out. MW2 is definately your best option.

i think both modern warfares are the best, call of duty generally dont have co-op campaign but they all have split screen...and MW2 has spec ops which are fun mini misions u do with a friend on or offline! i recomend MW1 and MW2 because W@W is just hard to play for me!!! it might be fun u could rent them all at blockbuster too to see which one you like! but they all have split screen and they dont have co-op campaign but mw2 has spec ops. and in split screen for MW2 u level up and get new guns like in live! i think MW2 is the best casual gamer game out

Get call of duty modern warfare 2 its really fun it has split screen and since u have ps3 i think its free for WiFi (live) but its the best one out of all of em....

WaW and Mw2. not COD4. MW2 has spec ops, and WaW has co-op multiplayer. both online and with a buddy sitting next to you.
