I WANT my chocolate to bloom. What's the quickest way to do this?

I want my students to be able to see the chocolate bloom effect. If I melt dark chocolate in the microwave at the beginning of class and then stick it in the freezer or fridge to set, about how long will it take to set in order for us to see the white stuff?

If it'll take too long, I may just begin the process tonight here at home.

Thanks!

Use really cheap coating chocolate. The Bulk Barn near my house has the Merken's coating chocolate wafers and then they had a cheaper brand and I bought the cheaper brand. Melt it and stick it in the fridge. Within an hour I had bloom. Maybe test it at home first just to make sure before you try it in front of everyone.

It looks like you need to partially melt then reharden the chocolate. Here's a website with "suggestions" to make your chocolate bloom (i.e. afternoon in a hot car).
