Will my furniture / home cinema equipment have smoke smell/particles on it?

I had a few friends over last night who all smoke cigarettes, none of the smoked in the house but they do constantly have a smokey smell on themselves (like all smokers). Can this smoke smell/particles transfer to all the stuff in my living room through the air? Or would they have to touch it (like when you hug a smoker and your clothes have a smokey smell)

    Rather depends on;

    how many a' few' is

    how long they were in the house

    and how soon after smoking.

    Think of it like B.O. - if you have a teenage football or rugby team in straight after a match on a hot day and they stay for several hours your house could well have a distinctive odour for a considerable time, neh?

    If you have 2 mates round who play tennis once a week the day before they play, you wouldn't notice they'd been there.

    So, if they were smoking on the doorstep then walking straight into the house the smell may linger.

    Open the doors and windows and give the air freshener a quick couple of blasts around the house, you'll soon be rid.
