Do you remember the first time you listened to you're favorite album or song?

I was eight and my dad bought me the album 'Songs About Jane'.

I'm still listening to the album, 9 years later.

BQ: Is it sunny where you live today? (:

When I was around seven or eight years old my dad played Daydream Believer to me for the first time. From then on, I used to force him to play it in the evening because I just loved dancing to it. I knew every single word. Whilst it's not always on my playlist now, I absolutely love that song and still listen to it every now and again almost ten years later. ^_^

    Oh yeah.

I remember listening to Kid A by Radiohead on the computer, still trying to figure out what the **** I was listening to. After lots and lots of times listening to it, I got all of the structures the album provided, and it all made perfect sense. I never heard music like that at that time, so that album pretty much changed my life, therefore being my favourite.

The best thing was I discovered Radiohead in the winter time, there couldnt be a better time to do so :D

BQ: Surprisingly yes...it usually rains these days.

yes I do remember, In the year 2000 I saw a compilation CD from Century media at the music store for only $10, ($5 US at the time) so I bought it and brought it home, I can't remember what track it was but I was in my room and "When" by Opeth came on, I was so blown away I immediately went into the city the next day and went this large independent music store who stock a lot of lesser known bands from overseas and picked up "Still Life", then the next week I came back and picked up "My Arms Your Hearse" then came back and got "Morningrise" I didn't buy Orchid though, I stole that one online, I never wanted to support a band that badly before though, when I could have easily downloaded everything for free.

In 2004 I flew over 1300 miles to see their concert, I've seen them 3 more times since then but haven't needed to fly.

My favorite album is Welcome To The Masquerade, I first heard the song Bring Me To Life, which was a single, and which made me listen to that awesome album :)

Yes, I remember almost all of them ... Ok, without counting all the bands I found accidentally on the Internet :D

The feeling of remembering that *blessed* day when you found your *love* is just so good and unforgettable.

Well, it was raining in the morning, now it's ok.
