here is what i do, every day i run 1 mile, pull ups, sit ups, and pushups, what you should do is, do as many pushups as you can, for example, if you do 60, then the next day try doing atleast 61, and if u can do more, great :D, same thing with situps, if you do 70, then the next day try to beat that, and keep trying to do atleast 1 more than you did the day before in pullups, situps, and pushups, its good to push your self but remember, dont over do it, as for running, try beating your time each day, drink lots of water, another good way to improve on pushups is to do 3 sets, do 60 pushups, take a break for a few min, then do 60 more, take another little break, then do another set of 60, it wouldnt hurt to lift weights as well. Eat healthy and good luck with the military be safe.

Source(s): i could only do 20 pushups, 4 dead hang pullups, and 30 situps a month or two ago, now i can do 55-60 pushups, 12 dead hang pullups, and 70+ situps and still setting a new goal each day, joining navy SWCC after high school
