COULD MY CREDIT CARD INFO HAVE BEEN HACKED?

I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MAKING A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY PC SAYS 'GOOGLE CHROME HAS CRASHED'. I STARTED OVER AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THE MORE I THOUGHT ABOUT IT, COULD THERE HAVE BEEN SOMEONE HACKING ME AND GETTING ALL MY CC INFO?? I ONLY HAVE THE FREE VERSION OF AVG :(

Don't worry. Google Chrome can sometimes crash if you have a few flash heavy websites running and have a slow computer. It's pretty common, actually. I don't think you need to worry about anything at all. Besides, if someone was stealing your info, they would have better ways and would be much more sneaky.

EDIT: Also, may I suggest Avast 4 Home edition? It's free and works. Also, if you're willing to shell out about 30 dollars, you can get Kaspersky antivirus from ebay. I use Kaspersky and it is pretty great!
