What is with this Michael Jackson obsession?

Question

Now, the man was a talented child, don't get me wrong. However, as an adult, there was nothing special about him, save a few flashy dance moves, catchy songs, and...interesting...wardrobe choices.

It seems that recently, a lot of fans have come out of the woodwork and tried to shove it down the throats of the rest of us that the man was some sort of unparalleled god. He was not. He was a pop star who enjoyed a nice chunk of his life in the spotlight. 

I get it; the man died. However, death does not a saint make. 

Now don't you go throwing that "Prince of Pop" title at me. Elizabeth Taylor (a woman known for her sound mind and good judgment) bestowed that title upon him and he started parading it around as though it meant something.

some people co nsider him a musical genius. i dont know if i would go that far but i do think he has talent even as an adult.  what people like about him is that hes a croud pleaser. if you watch some of his performances he does all of the right moves and entertains the crowd enough so that they stay nuts the whole time. he was a showman.

OMG I observed those comments too! they are in simple terms disgusting! i'm enormously valuable those quickly little females are around Prince's age too. yet rattling, Prince isn't even thinking approximately those issues yet. He probable nevertheless likes toy autos! Lolz. And yet another component, how can absolutely everyone have sixteen issues they like approximately him as quickly as we've not even heard the boy communicate yet? From what people have suggested, he's a properly mannered boy and extremely bright and smart yet we ought to constantly choose ourselves not based off of what people have suggested.

Nothing special about him? Let me see you do what he did. Michael Jackson, is not the prince of pop, he's the King. And, so what? Elvis was parading around with his title, the king of rock. Everybody want's to be all about Michael Jackson all of a sudden, just because he has more fans added to the many he has had already. If you ask me, I would say they oughta place his picture in the dictionary next to music.

Michael Jackson, revolutionized, perfected, and created parts of music. Many are inspired by him and his presence.
