"Cultural relativism" has no necessary connection to the idea of religious tolerance or religious liberty. The writings of Mussolini professed cultural relativism and concluded that everyone therefore had as much right as anyone else to define their own culture and impose it on the rest of the world if they could.

There is nothing more "culturally relative" than religious belief. Religious belief varies from one street corner to the next.

if i am culturally religious, i cannot judge others with my own. preaching my faith to others has connection to cultural relativism since i am not only imposing my faith on others, i am also crossing their personal comfort zone/safe space.. not a humane approach.
