Compressed air with mapp gas setup?
Alright, I have a bernzomatic oxy-mapp setup for small welding jobs, but I am tired of paying for their O2 tanks, Could I just make a connector which screwed into the oxy hose and connect that to my air compressor. If it helps it's an oil free compressor.
I don't do any cutting or actual welding, I just braze and solder with it.

No. It will burn but the torch won't get hot enough to do much more than get something a little warm. Buy a larger o2 tank or rent one.
Edit - You can not get enough heat out of air/map to braze especially in that setup. You need oxygen. There are map torches that can get hot enough to braze (kinda along the line of a plumbers torch) but they are limited. They use map or acetylene only and ambient air to heat but again they are limited.

No, the airpumps at gas stations only pump air extracted from the atmosphere. Paintball guns require the gas carbon dioxide to operate properly carbon dioxide gas is the only non-toxic gas that has a high enough vapor pressure, or else you will not get enough pressure for it to fire. You would also damege the tanks carrying cappacity. Also the gas has to be delived at a much higher pressure then whats used to inflate tires.

I doubt there is enough oxygen in the atmosphere to get a hot enough flame to weld.
