Where can I find a table that will tell me how many shots I can take with anSD card?
I am going to buy a new camera that is 12.1 mp . Can anyone tell me of a site that will tell me how many shots I can take with a 4gb SD card and also 8gb and 16gb cards. Is it worth getting a SDHC card?
Thanks for your help everyone

It's really going to depend on the pixels and what you will mostly be using the camera for. If you are someone who will be shooting videos, go with an HC. Considering the prices of these cards are SOO much less than they were a couple of years ago, I would go with more memory. I have a 16GB in my point and shoot. I don't have to worry about erasing the contents of the card every time I take pictures which is especially handy when traveling.

Hey John Boy, I think it kinda depends on the card and the setting that you are shooting at. For a general idea, just visit the manufacturers page of the card. I have a SDHC card for my T1i but if you aren't getting a DRSL I don't know that it is really worth it. Anyways, go to Amazon and search the SD cards, in the description most of them will have a "chart" or guideline as to how many picds you can get on the card. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0018M256G?tag=sdoo3tst-...
