how to jailbreak 4.1?
my ipod touch 3g running 3.1.3 mc model i really want to update to 4.1. if i did this ill lose the jailbreak.. so any ideas?

Don't update to 4.1. If you really want to be running IOS 4, then go here: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
download iPod Touch 3g (4.0/08A293) and use that ipsw to upgrade. then you can jailbreakme.com to jailbreak

at the moment, there are no jailbreak for 4.1. so dont update to 4.1. you can try updating it to 4.0 by downloading it here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ and jailbreaking it with redsnow.
green poison is currently trying to create a jailbreak for 4.1, you can wait for that.
