Is it better to plug in and use your laptop or use it unplugged?
I use my computer a lot in a day but not necessarily all in one session. so i was wondering several things really:
1.When using your computer is it better to leave it plugged in or use it unplugged
2. Is it better to power up the computer with it plugged in or wait to plug it in until it is fully running
3.When turned off is it better to leave it unplugged or plugged in
4.is it better to always keep it full or only charge it when it is low on battery
I would appreciate it if all of these were answered and any other general advice that would be useful. Please and Thank you

Your battery only has a certain number of recharge cycles, so:
1. Better to use it plugged in;
2. Plug it in as soon as you've hit the on button;
3. Don't leave the power pack switched on when the laptop is not running -- the power pack doesn't like it;
4. Recharge from flat every so often -- maybe once in up to five or so recharges.

When using yr lappy & have access to mains power use it. Then you'll be ready for when yr out & about.
There's no reason to have yr lappy plugged in/switched on 24/7 unless you are landing planes or doing something like medical procedures. It is there to serve you.
Source(s): Always use mains power @ home so I'm ready to go out & do business where quite possibly there's no mains power available, that way I don't panic I'm going to get a flat battery.
