Have you noticed that Yahoo censors questions & answers?

That page is coming up to many many users on here and a couple more irritating things that are happening because yahoo did some updating and said that there could be erratic behaviour. There is censoring done on here and it's a good thing there is or this would be horrible site to be using..

Yahoo! gets to set the rules on its own website.

Yahoo! Answers does not censor the Q&A.

When they put Answers is Unavailable; it's a glitch. It does post though most of the time. It is up to the Yahoo! Answers users to help report harmful spam etc to keep the Y!A community Safer. Y!A does not look at them, however if there is a appealing form, they will most likely look at the appeal.

So if you post something harmful, Y!A does not delete it; the users do.

OK, couple of things. First, that screen is not censoring you - it is simply a glitch. Most of the time, the answer still posts. Mine all do, and I get that screen all the time. You can change browsers and it will probably go away. Unless you are posting links, in which case you may have hit the antispamming filter - so just eliminate the link and post it after with the 'edit' feature.

Second, there IS NO freedom of speech guaranteed on a PRIVATE site. Yahoo Answers is owned by Yahoo, they have the right to make and enforce rules - and you AGREED to follow those rules when you signed up for your account.

OK.. there is no freedom of speech per se. Yahoo is a private site.

HOWEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! some people can say whatever they want.

In yahoo you fall into 2 categories : favouristism..they love you and you can do WHATEVER you want, even report people you do not like just because...They can violate the TOS and who cares. They can steal you avatar and nick name, pass as you, send hate mail......basically they CAN DO whatever they want. They can impersonate you, steal your pic , say whatever they want...that you are a pedophile, drunk, whatever..they can have 100s of accounts of yahoo does not care. They basically can and write whatever they wish and get away with it. They are the darlings of yahoo and i suspect are yahoo staff also anyway.

2. You are just an ordinary citizen and you think that posting anything even as innocent as " do you get breakfast this morning..Poll" and you get a violation for.. You are of no use to yahoo so bye bye,,

3. Ask about yahoo questions and answers and policies..lol.........funny but you will find that no one but the normal citizen will answer you. NO WAY will the like of the habitual yahoo staff touch this one.....makes sense because you are pointing something which is irregular lol ! and they do not like that AT ALL.

4, Just accept that yahoo is highly questionable,

This system does not work in a democratic society. Yahoo is full of faults so in the end you just got to laugh at them.

do not try to go against them.....they will use such language akin to Russian to explain themselves.

Yahoo is another totally BIASED SITE and just accept it...they are NOT looking for information and blah blah blah,,

They end product is MONEY !!......ADS !!!!!!!!!

Later they will employ people like yasmin etc..so forget about yahoo existence in the future...I saw one participant in 2006 becoming part of yahoo staff ..and becoming even more stupid...could not even answer basic questions !!

Yes, 7 of my best answers disappeared a week ago. I'm still searching why, because none of them were offensive.
