    For which account? Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or others? They all different set-ups.

    For the Hotmail Signup Form, go to: SignUp.Live.com (Live.com is the new name for the set of online services Microsoft offers, part of the "Windows Live" initiative. Hotmail, or "Windows Live Hotmail", is just the webmail offering of these free services.)

    Start Outlook Express. Click on Tools in the menu bar and then go to Accounts

    This brings up the Internet Accounts pop-up window. Click on the Mail tab, to bring it to the front if it is not already so. If you are starting Outlook Express for the first time, there would not be any email accounts listed on this window.

    To add a new mail account, click on the Add button and then on Mail This brings up the Internet Connection Wizard pop-up window. Enter your name in the Display Name field and click on the Next button.

    The wizard now asks for your email address. Enter the full email address and click on the Next button.

    Yahoo.

    Visit the Yahoo Mail home page to take the first step to creating your own email account at Yahoo.

    Click on the 'Sign Up' link that appears somewhere near the top of the Yahoo home page.

    Enter your name and other requested information in the fields provided.

    GMAIL (GOOGLE MAIL) E-MAIL ACCOUNT:

    Type http://www.gmail.com/ in the Address box of your web browser.

    Click on the Create an account> > button at the lower right.

    Type your first and last name in the boxes provided.

    Type in your desired Login Name (the part before the “@gmail.com”), then click on the check availability! button.

    If Google tells you that the Login Name is available, select a password and type it in twice in the two boxes. The password must be a minimum of 8 characters. If the Login Name is not available, try another one.

    Click on the Down Arrow next to whatever is in the Security Question: box, then click on the Security Question you want, such as What was your first teacher’s name?, or click on Write my own question, then type in your own question, such as What is your mother’s maiden name?

    Note: A security question is what Google will use to verify your identity if you forget your password or need technical support.

    Type the characters you see in the picture in the box below Word Verification:. Google does this to be sure that you are a human being, and not some computer trying to set up multiple e-mail accounts to spam people. A computer cannot read the letters in the picture.

    Click on the I accept. Create my account. button below.

    Click on I’m ready – show me my account.

    If by chance you are talking about the FROM name that your recipients see in their inbox prior to opening up the email...see below

    Below describes what is in that link.

    In MAIL CLASSIC or ALL NEW MAIL ....click on OPTIONS...MAIL OPTIONS.(MORE OPTIONS in All New Mail).. Then click on ACCOUNTS...Click on "Yahoo! Mail" which is located just below ACCOUNTS. ..then scroll down to YOUR FROM NAME and change it to what you want. Go above and click on SAVE CHANGES. Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank your recipients will see your email address in their in box prior to opening your email.

    Now...for your actual email name...

    You can't change your email ID name, but you can add another to your present account OR make a new one....see below

    To clarify what is below...when you add another name to the present

    account you will not lose anything...IE: contacts...address list.

    etc...You will have to send an email to all your friends advising them

    of the new email address...if someone makes a mistake and sends it to

    the email address you don't like anymore it will go to the same inbox

    so you don't lose any messages.

    To notify your contacts of the email change click on OPTION...MAIL OPTIONS...go to the left side and click on ACCOUNTS..then click on ADD OR EDIT...go back and click on MAIL again...Under MANAGEMENT scroll down and click on ANNOUNCE EMAIL ADDRESS...once you are done with what you

    want the notice to say AND after adding your contactlist in the header click on PREVIEW AND SEND...when the new screen comes up and everything is as you want it...go below and send it....

    Click the link below to get an extra email address for your existing

    account. It´s absolutely free. Use it just as you would for your

    primary address (which of course you can still use). To make things

    handy, you can send and receive email from either address from the same
