Like XP and every other OS system to totally wipe out and reprogam your PC or laptop that wipes out everything on it, and builds it back up from scratch.

more information is needed to be honest. you many not even need a disk if your hard drive has a recovery partition on it. that will depend on what computer you have. usually when you boot your computer, you will have an option available to recover or repair to factory default.
if not, you will need an operating system disk along with the systems product key to type in for activation.
what computer do you have and are you going to want to back up any data?
