I cannot touch either side of my laptop next to my mouse because it makes a weird static crackling noise thru the speakers, and the windows I am working in locks up until I take my hand away. You can just barely touch it with a finger and it will do this. I just replaced my hard drive, but I don't think that's it.

I pulled into my driveway and it just quit. Tried to start it again, nothing. Waited ten minutes after disconnecting the battery for ten, and it fired a few times but chugged mostly. Waited all night and it won't even fire now. Any ideas?

The other day at my brother's house my connection said it was connected but would not let us surf the internet even on my brothers laptop either. I could not cycle and reset the router because it was locked in my brothers office until he came home and reset it. BUT, it would let me play online games like poker and chess programs. HOW can this be?

My neighbor told me when he returns this week he will do my taxes if I get the forms and I live in Oregon. Can I print them out from some site without having to drive way downtown? I also just need the simple forms for a typical everyday job making less than 22K.

An old Iranian friend of mine told me that Muslim women shave everything including their genitals completely because it is part of the Muslim religion. I think he is screwing with my head. He is a good friend, but likes to play mind games. Is this true?

I had an employer that wrote me a check and said not to cash it till Monday, because the money was not there. This was Saturday and I told her I need my money because she was already a week late paying me. She told me to take it to a check cashing place and she would make sure the money would be there on Monday in her account. She didn't, and has not for a month, even though they have all of her phone numbers, even at home.

Here is the thing. The people at the check cashing place have been calling me everyday and sending me letters saying I am responsible for this check plus fees. They say they will put it on my credit and take me to court.

I did not write the check, sign it, nor have anything to do with the account it was written on.

Can they really do this, if so, give me laws!?

I have used this disk on other hard drives after the problem, but one hard drive always freezes up at 49 percent. What is wrong with the hard drive?
