Muslimism question about Muslim women and shaving.?
An old Iranian friend of mine told me that Muslim women shave everything including their genitals completely because it is part of the Muslim religion. I think he is screwing with my head. He is a good friend, but likes to play mind games. Is this true?

I'm not a Muslim but I've heard this before, google it. They're big on hair removal in Islam, they think it's dirty for some reason. I don't think all Muslims would remove everything though, I'm sure there's some leeway. Oh and it applies to men too.

This is completely false, your friend is doing your head in. I am not Muslim but have Muslim friends that complain about Muslim girls not taming down stairs. They would not complain unless it is a problem to them right? Now the Muslim religion will not follow westerners in shaving and this includes working downstairs. They believe growing your hair will make you closer to God. How can shaving be part of their religion when the majority of the men you see on TV that are Muslims have beards? You friend is saying this to make it seem that his religion is in line with westerners or even better.
