Stranded bird please help?
I was going shopping about a half hour ago and on the sidewalk in front of the store was a tiny puffball of a bird. It was covered in feathers but still looked young. It's wings didn't look fully developed and it just sat there not moving. When I went closer, it stepped an inch away and then just flinched if i got any closer. Should I take it home to help it? Thank you!

Contact a raptor center or animal humane society in your area. Young birds need a special kind of care to survive. If one isn't available, ask a veterinarian. They can help.

put it in a shoebox and bring it home, then look up how to care for a hurt baby bird and nurse it back to health! but don't touch it too much and wash your hands after you handle it cuz it could be diseased
