i have an ipod touch mc model 3g 8gb jailbroken?
running on 3.1.3 and i really want to click the update button to 4.1 what jailbreakers can i use when theyre out? greenpoison? what else?

Unless you can find a way to downgrade to 3.1.2, there is currently no program that can jailbreak iOS 4.1 (yet).
The only two programs that I have seen that jailbreak iOS 4.1 is sn0wbreeze 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2 and redsn0w 0.9.6beta1. However, sn0wbreeze requires that the iPod Touch 3G is on 3.1.2 and redsn0w only supports the iPod Touch 2G and iPhone 3G ONLY.

Well, If you like to use cydia you can download ios 4 for 3rd gen. its a program in winterboard that mimics ios 4.0 thats what I would do first just to see if you like it enough

I believe the latest version of redsn0w will work for you, but I'm not sure. It worked for my iPhone 3g.
