Has your computer ever frustrate so bad that you wanted to throw it out the window?

YES MY COMPUTER CANT GO 2 MINUTES WITHOUT POPPING UP A SCREEN THAT SAY INTERNET CAN NOT DISPLAY THIS WEBPAGE AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I hate computers with a passion. Hate them. Hate them!

They are not yet ready for consumer use.

When you buy a new car, do you expect to diagnose problems yourself and download updates that will probably screw up your transmission or stop your indicators from working or cause your car to suddenly freeze as you're pulling out of your drive on your way to work when you most need the blasted thing to be reliable, especially when you've only just bought it out of the showroom and have done nothing except use it as it is supposed to be used.

The longer you own a computer, the more it will infiltrate your mind and take you over and cause you to divorce your partner, alienate your children, lose your job, punch a policeman, and become an alcoholic.

Or is that just me?

I'm not a stupid man. But when a buy a product I want it to work as it should. Of course there wilI be a few problems. But I don't want to become a software technician, or have to constantly resort to reading the Microsoft website for answers to problems that shouldn't exist. Consumers are so used to doing this nowadays that they accept it as the norm.

In years to come, when they actually are user friendly, we will look back at our present units and laugh, " Why did we put up with such trash?"

I also have a style of days just about on a daily basis Im at artwork, different than, i desire to headbutt the purchasers, throw the telephone out the front door and then tell the business organisation that they are all a collection of idiots and haven't any concept what they're doing a million/2 the time :| desire you have a spectacular day to :)

I used to have problems with computers until I had one custom-built for me and used all top-end parts in it, (i7 Xtreme Core Processor, multi-RAID hard-drive configuration, and about £6,000 of other hardware), and this system works fine for me, only once has it ever crashed on me.

I guess with technology improving at ever faster rates than before, it's harder to buy a good system and keep it maintained and over time the syste, becomes less efficient.

It ate a paper that I worked on all semester.

They don't fly out the second story window very well.

The only time I ever wanted to throw my computer out the window was when it wouldn't start up. I was so frustrated I wanted to cry.

Come to find out I didn't have it plugged in.

all of the above...I've wanted to throw it "somewhere"/punch it hundreds, if not million(s) of times!! The only thing that keeps me from doing so is I don't really have the funds offhand to buy a replacement!! :)
