Even some sahaba left Islam after the prophet(pbuh&hh), so why should I be shell-shocked now because some unknown scholar became sunni??
Just like in the same way that the mufti of syria became a shi'a doesn't make me feel any happier, because religion is between one and his God.
Check youtube if you want to hear stories of people going either way... what would that do??
Even if the whole world converts, for as long as I believe in what I have, nothing will change it... surely not an unknown scholar either...
@above: Habeen Al Jifri is a sufi scholar... not sure if he became a shi'a, but generally he is moderate and fair in his approach to other sects...

Source(s): [Edit] - Of course I know who you are. You're a nasibi. [Edit] - don't be idiots, the lot of you cowards. It's to show how ridiculous your question is, Mr. Asker. You can understand Arabic, yeah? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgPpFky0DtQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJuUSkHmXkQ [Edit] - I've seen his tired old arguments over and over again Asker -- mostly Bay'at al-Ridwan fallacy. You can certainly look up the problems with that yourself, Asker. His beliefs don't have anything to do with mine. You should look up apostate Muslims and see their justification for leaving Islam...:o) [Edit] - below, it does not matter to me one way or the other...which was the point of parodying the asker's question (which he claims to be an "honest" question) [Edit] - surely, you jest. 99% of the world's Islamic apostates come from the one and only Sunnism. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Alhamdulillah Allah guided him to the right path of Islam
@asker
