This is a very good chocolate cake without eggs or oil. It starts with a box mix but you don't use the oil or eggs with it. It is a cross between a brownie and a chocolate cake. I have made it many times and the kids love it. Here is what you will need:

    1 box Chocolate Cake Mix

1 small box Chocolate Cook & Serve Pudding (cannot be INSTANT)

Milk called for on the box of Chocolate Pudding

1/2 c Mini Chocolate Morsels (not regular sized chocolate chips - they won't melt in time)

1/2 c chopped nuts (Pecans, Walnuts - your choice)

Cook the pudding to the boil. Once it thickens, pour directly into the dry Chocolate Cake Mix and stir well. It will start to rise - don't worry. Pour into a sprayed 9" square cake pan (or 8"). Sprinkle the Mini Chocolate Morsels over the mix. Sprinkle the nuts over the Morsels. That makes the frosting. Place in a preheated 350º oven and bake for 25 minutes. DONE!! No water, no eggs, no oil. Just the milk in the pudding.

    Enjoy!

using a box mix, and 1 12oz can of soda

For a chocolate cake, use a dark soda, like Coke or Pepsi. For a yellow cake or spice cake, use a light soda like Sprite or 7-up.
