Can my phone conversation in Florida be recorded in Alabama without my consent?

The father of my children lives in Alabama and I live in Florida. He seems to think it is legal to record phone conversation when he calls my house. Florida law states that both parties must give permission whereas in Alabama only one has to. FCC states both have to give permission. Is he right?

Since it is an interstate call, it is governed by Federal law, which requires both parties to be aware that the call is being taped.

there is wording in the law that says if he tells you he is recording the phone call and you continue to talk, knowing that the call is being recorded then that in itself is giving consent..
