what's the difference between ps3 break and p3 hub ?

When you buy a ps3 game it comes in a optical disc format called BluRay. Now the only way you can play that is inside of the ps3, this is the official bla bla story. But some people who names are hidden to protect them from law suits and media, have made a software originally called Jailbreak. Now they are calling it usbbreak - psbreak you name. But this software let you play a ps3 game without a disc. And the way that its done is that you buy/borrow/rent a game, and with the help of that software the game is copied into the hdd both internal and external. So then you could sell the game fast enough so the price doesn't drop, and you could get almost what you originally paid for.

Now sony doesn't like this bc what this means is that hypothetically one person can buy a game and give it to 100 people. And if that game cost 60 dollars that's 6000 dollars not earned bc sony doesn't see that money. Or it can be worst those 100 people can give it to there friends/family/strangers. Soon enough its worst than a virus loosing sony infinite amount of money on just ONE game. I say infinite bc when you don't know the value the number then is limitless.

So they made firmware 3.41 which official was for security reason. But unofficial was to ge rid of freeloader/hackers basically anybody looking for a free meal was to meet the wall. But some jumped over the wall so sony build a larger (firmware 3.50) was for 3D which was enabled previously but the needed a story.

Now the downsize with this is that if that software dose something to the ps3 and makes it brain dead, you can forget the warranty. So if you buy a new ps3 slim that retails at 299 and you right away insert that software. If it should go bad its money wasted and you have the "live with it" feeling.

I personally wouldn't go with it bc this is not windows where if you get a virus strike you can format and reinstall. Sony sends a update file which is in some sense giving you 150 more brick to go with your already 450.

Plus I like to support a good game that way they can continue to make another one, do it like the 99.99 % of the people that are paying for it. Bc remember the old saying "what you pay is what you get".
