You have to delete them by hand.
And then change your settings so that it does not do an auto download each time you put the card in. Then after you download them, and put the card back in the camera, format the card to clear it off and start from scratch.
That is one of the big problems with iphoto.
You might want to tell Santa that you want the new Adobe Lightroom for Xmas. Its allows you to organize your images better and also allows you to do the basic needed editing to get them ready to print. If you have a student in the family, the Student version is the same as the normal one, just a lot less!
Hope this helps. Happy Holidays from Alaska.

my advice is to not use iPhoto. you lose a lot of data by using iPhoto. if you have the option of using Adobe Bridge then that is the way I would go.

as much as records, form so as that your duplicates would be mutually, then it somewhat is going to be much less complicated to delete by using maximum suitable clicking on row handle, delete or as somebody has reported, utilising stepped forward filter out and unique products. bear in mind nevertheless doing it this way will delete the duplicates right away so if there substitute into the different records concerning the duplicates distinctive to the records concerning the originals, it would do humorous issues to the spreadsheet as an entire.
