Aren't iPhone apps just glorified webpages?

    Not even close. A webpage is full of webcoding like HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript..etc, while iPhones apps are coded using C/C++ programming, I believe. Two totally different types of programming languages there. Plus, web pages offer information, links, downloads..etc, while an iPhone app is limited to only what the app is meant for. Touch screen and smart phone technology with user interaction. Sites and apps are two very different things.
