What do you use to separate two microwave dinners?

When we use the rack that came with the microwave, we get sparks... so, what do we use to separate two microwave dinners, so that there is space between them? (28ltr microwave combi oven)

we need something that can be used in microwave setting only. not combi, grill or oven! so, appearantly in microwave setting the thing cannot take a metal rack to space two dinners. ...

we are totally confused now, because we bought the microwave FOR the rack that went with it, so we could heat TWO dinners!!!

any solutions or ideas?

thanks!

    HI

A microwave cover is what you need to separate your dinners. I use it a lot. There are a lot of different types available. You will need to look online for your specific country for availability. I bought mine (3 to a pack) in France.

It basically covers the whole plate, and you can put another plate on top of it and cover that with another cover. It has vents for steam so that it protects your microwave from splatters and is also useful to stack two plates one on top of the other.

The rack you are talking about is ONLY for the grill.. i.e. not for microwaving, but for use while grilling, to bring the dish closer to the grill at the top.

You might go to the manufactures site and see if they have a recall. Or there may be a replacement "plastic" rack you can buy. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
