I was a hunter on safari, complete with rifle. Can't recall where the pith helmet came from. Loved that hat.

Honey, when I was a kid, I lived in the country till age 7. I never knew what halloween was. Then we moved to the city and we hardly made ends meet. I don't remember anyone having a costume. WW2 was not a time to be thinking of such things. We where at war. Not a fun time at all.

Aww.. I was raised a Jehovah witness so I only got to celebrate halloween once when I was 3! ~ I was a clown. I vaguely remember but I loved it!
I've made up for it with my kids though.. My daughter (4) has been a bumble bee and Cinderella (which she loved) and my son (2) was a Monkey. This year my daughter has her pick of any Disney Princess she wants because we have all the dresses, and my son is going to be Spider-man (though I think my daughter wants to be Spider-man too so maybe we'll have to make that adjustment~ lol).

The only one that I can remember is a clown. People wouldn't stop touching my face but it was a fun costume.

A scare crow and a Pirate were my favorite. My mom and grandmother used to make it look so real.
