Random e-mails are being sent to my contacts in my yahoo address book, I deleted my address book this morning around 9am in attempts to stop this any other suggestions?

Change your password immediately.
Send an apology email to your friends, advising them to scan their computers.
Scan your own computer with BOTH antivirus AND antimalware.
If you do not feel that is enough, you can make a NEW email address, move over those contacts you want to KEEP and that you know are safe, send them an email explaining why you made a new address - and then CLOSE the old address.
