What color is Iron(II) sulfate when dissolved in water? What color is Iron (III) sulfate?

Please don't tell me about what color the solid is...

I had the reaction Fe + CuSO4 which yielded FeSO4. I was wanting to know what color FeSO4 and Fe2(SO4)3 are. Please cite sources if possible. Thanks!

Iron (II) salts are usually very pale green in aqueous solution and Iron (III) salts are yellow in aqueous solution.

These colours are caused by the absorption and emission of light at different wavelengths (colours) by the complex ions [Fe.6H2O]2+ and [Fe.6H2O]3+

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/aw2qw

Since there is no reaction, the colour will simply be the mixture of the two colours. However it is a bit more complex than this as the colour of iron(III) sulfate depends on the concentration WEAK. Yellow >>> Orange >>> rust brown STRONG These colours will actually dominate as iron(II) sulphate is such a pale green that it won't affect these too much.
