Is the recipient of a Skype international phone call charged?
I have been using Skype for some time, mostly just for Skype to Skype calls, but also in some occasions when my cell phone has been inaccessible for whatever reason. I know that for calls to a landline or mobile phone within the country the recipient of the call is not charged, but does that apply to international calls as well? What I mean to say is that I know I will have to spend my Skype credit on the phone call, but will the person I am calling overseas be charged for receiving that call, or will it be exactly the same as calling someone within my own country? I have a couple of friends I want to call, but I don't want them to pay a fortune because of me. I did look on the Skype website, and there is no information at all to help me, so if someone who has used it to call a mobile phone/landline in another country could let me know, that would be fantastic.

The receiver is NEVER charged by skype! However, many cell phones are charged by their service provider for incoming calls (usually in 'minutes') for calls not from their own network or not part of the cell phone's friends and family group.
